Haiku

Golden morning light hits the temple
then tip-toes in on sacred ground

Seeds floating on the wind,  captured in the petals of a flower
The sweet breath of a baby burping mothers' milk
The sands of my life spill
aimlessly on the ground.....
   .......without you

A jade green band,
  once a symbol of love...
  broken

WIND

  climbs up the lamp post
and slithers through the cracks .......the old house moans
  Blows softly
though the palms...
soothing to the face,
and gently caresses the lovers in the sand

Howls through the trees whispering ..come here.
  Swirls and twirls leaves
of red and gold
on brisk cool mornings....
a sign of change

Cools sweat on the brow.... calming the effects from the suns hot rays.......
Tickles the hair on the neck and sways leaves that dance on the trees
  Gently brings the spring rain...
touching the flower petals
as they say hello

slides down the green blades
of grass to
the thirsty earth below
cleanses my heart...
.and the moist sea air
fills my thoughts
of you...
