You can't freeze it.
You can't pin it on a board
like a specimen butterfly.
Love can't be contained,
or analyzed...
Love just is!

You can write about it,
and sing about it,
however
the very elusive qualities
which magnetize
one to the other
is not definable
Love just is!

What it is....
is not....what it isn't.
A field of polarities
playing one against the other.
A moth drawn to the flame,
A bird to the air,
A kiss to the lips.
Love just is!

To bargain with love,
to fight against love,
is to delay the inevitable,
to quell the storm
of your being.
